Working on your sporting abilities and improving your game is a worthwhile endeavor. You can become a much better player simply by changing your internal dialog. Think about how you feel about yourself. Do you think of yourself as a Star Player? Why not? You can achieve the level of a pro simply by making a few changes to your mindset. We outline that process below in three easy steps.

Step One

Change your routines. Upgrade your lifestyle. Try eating healthy and running each day. The challenge here is to challenge yourself to try new things outside your comfort zone. Explore every aspect of your sporting life and your everyday life.

Step Two

Create some “Me Time” for yourself each day. What do you really enjoy doing in your free time? Make sure you spend a portion of each day doing something you love. And don’t feel guilty about this. This is a good way to unwind.

Step Three

Don’t neglect rewarding yourself for your good behavior. We all have to make sacrifices in our lives. We have to work long hours to support our families. Sometimes we take jobs we don’t really enjoy. You deserve a reward, a pat on the back.

Creating Abundance in your Sports Life is all about training yourself to be more disciplined but knowing when to stop and just enjoy a moment. Some sports legends are so driven. But the really great ones know when to take a day off and kick back.
